Vander Meer creates animation the way it was begun over a century ago – pen and ink on paper. Each frame is drawn by hand. Fascinating, whimsical and thought-provoking, his short films have won awards at film festivals and been shown at special screenings at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.
